Y’all already know that CONVICTS exists to tell the stories that make this troubled world a little bit better. And right now, there’s nowhere in deeper trouble than Ukraine: Putin invaded, millions of refugees are flooding into the rest of Europe, and the whole world is on a razor’s edge of anxiety.
That’s why CONVICTS had to get on the ground in Poland. We’re here right now, meeting humans on the frontlines of this crisis and giving a platform to their heart-breaking, soul-stirring stories of heartbreak, resilience and compassion.
From refugee centers to border towns to the Ukrainian expat bars in downtown Warsaw, we are amplifying the bright human light shining through these dark times. We aim to show the world that, despite the grimness of tragedy, humanity’s capacity for good still has a fighting chance. If you haven’t already subscribed to The Cure, do so now.
