Gary Clark Jr. is a high voltage blues picker for the twenty first century.. The Austin native breathed fresh life to the tradition of Southern guitar wizardry.
His live shows are marked by the climbing riffs and crescendoing jams of classic rock and roll. His lyrics swerve between down-and-out blues ballads, sonic poetry and the embrace of an ecstatic, solitary freedom. In this epic au revoir, Gary Clark Jr. opened up a can of shred on the Surf Lodge Crowd at the sunset end of 2016’s long summer.
