CONVICTS partnered with Afterpay to help promote a decentralized approach to NYFW, so that the future of fashion could be back in the hands of those who actually create it.
CONVICTS produced four social films for the designers who minted an NFT to unlock access to NYC’S and NYFW’s most exclusive opportunities. CONVICTS also produced a short documentary following one of the NFT designers, Kim Shui as she worked with the musicians, stylists, garment makers, and models involved in the lead up to her show's creation. The film culminates in the show itself, which took place in the publicly accessible Grand Central Station, and was the first decentralized runway show of its kind.
